ORLEANS PARISH CAMERA VIOLATION NOTICES ARE ALLEGEDLY NOTICES OF A CIVIL DEBT WHICH DO NOT AFFECT YOUR INSURANCE.  MS. BURBANK DOES NOT HANDLE ORLEANS PARISH CAMERA TICKETS, NOR DOES MS. BURBANK KNOW OF ANY ATTORNEYS WHO DO.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND THESE DEBT NOTICES TO MS. BURBANK. THANK YOU.

DON'T PAY THAT TRAFFIC TICKET!   The effects of paying traffic tickets can be severe and long-lasting.  Paying a traffic ticket can lead you down the road to higher insurance premiums for years to come, suspension of your driver's license, loss of driving privileges, and can worsen results of subsequent traffic cases.  In some courts, a case can only be kept off the driving record if the record is clean, so once you pay even ONE moving violation, you may not be able to get relief until that ticket drops from your record years later.  Paying traffic tickets can even prevent you from getting or keeping some jobs.

You have the right to set your case for trial and to have your case negotiated with the prosecutor.  In some cases, you may choose to go to trial rather than accept the plea bargain offered by the prosecutor.  Programs to avoid prosecution may be available.  YOU FORFEIT THESE RIGHTS BY PAYING A TICKET--PAYING A TICKET IS PLEADING GUILTY.

If you represent yourself, you may waste hours of precious free time, lose pay or use personal leave time in court...in addition to feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, intimidated, and suffering unnecessary stress.  TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THE PARK, WORK, OR JUST RELAX WHILE ALLISON BURBANK HANDLES YOUR TICKET FOR YOU.

Legal fees for many cases on a traffic docket in the Greater New Orleans area are $130-185 (depending upon the seriousness of the case, the distance of the courthouse, how many court appearances are required and how early you provide the ticket to Ms. Burbank without doing ANYTHING to set or continue the case).  Most cases where fees are paid early for non-accident, non-arrest, non-Driving Under Suspension cases run between $130-$185 depending upon the number of appearances. There may or may not be a fee due to the court, again it all depends on the court.  Fees for cases in accidents, hit and run,  and more serious cases as well as cases on misdemeanor dockets are slightly more, as are out-of-town appearances (such as St. John & St. Tammany Parishes).

Ms. Burbank apologizes for the small price increases necessitated by life's circumstances post-Katrina.  She strives to offer the very best in representation at rock-bottom prices.  Legal clients should not fall for hype which leads to paying needlessly-inflated legal fees.  Why pay another attorney $250-$500 for the very same service that she offers for $130-185?   With fees this low, your savings, in many cases, will equal or even exceed what you paid in legal fees.

If your ticket does not involve a missed court date, an accident, a DWI (aka DUI or OUI), or other serious offenses, you can probably avoid coming into the office and/or being present at your trial.  To get an idea of the process for uncomplicated traffic tickets, visit HOW IT WORKSEvery case is different, however, so please remember that this is a general guideline.  In handling your case, Allison Burbank will do what is best for you, all factors considered.

Just say NO TRAFFIC TICKETS ON MY DRIVING RECORD!
